About Me

Always influenced by the beauty and colors in nature.

• Grew up on the shores of Lake Huron

• Early memories of deep blue waters and groves of white-barked birch trees

• Went to college and received a BA and BFA

• Became an art teacher in Michigan

• Moved to the prarieland of Oklahoma

• Managed large teaching art centers in Tulsa, OK and Stillwater, OK

• Travelled extensively which influenced my art (Canada, USA, Latin America, Europe, etc.)

• Exhibited with a group of 10 women artists in Oklahoma, i.e. the Cimarron Women Artists

• Studied additionally at Art Students League in NYC, Arrowmont in Gatlinburg, TN and at the Southwest Craft Center in San Antonio, TX

• Returned and moved to Santa Fe, NM surrounded by mountains in the high desert - a very special, magical, light-filled place
